In Module 1 (Introduction)

we touch on a number of issues which provide context for the remainder of the training program.

we discuss the concept of CAPABILITY – what it is, why it is so important, and how it is assessed.

In Module 3 (Psychometric Tests)

we discuss Psychometric Tests – what they are and the legal and ethical framework for using them in a selection context.

we do a deep dive into Emotional Capability and Personality and how they drive individual and organisational performance.

In Module 5 (Cognitive Ability)

we discuss cognitive capability in depth and how it impacts on individual and organisational performance and its role as a marker for talent.

In Module 6 (Applications)

we discuss five different applications for psychometric tests.

In Module 7 (Competencies)

we discuss the various type of competencies and the ways in which they can be assessed.

In Module 8 (An Integrated Model of Assessment)

we discuss an Integrated Assessment Model and show you how to integrate information from various assessment sources into an informed decision about a candidate.

This training course is offered in two formats

Comprehensive

We recommend that you do the comprehensive course in order to obtain the maximum benefit from the training. The comprehensive course comprises 9 Modules and will take about 10 hours to complete.

Abridged Version

This version is a highly condensed version of the Comprehensive Version and will take about an hour and a half to complete. We recommend that you only do this version if your time is extremely limited; and that you also complete the comprehensive version at a later time.

The format of this training is Self - Study where you will work through the course material on your own. Each Module is structured as described below. On completion of the course a Q and A webinar session will be offered where you can raise issues that are not yet clear to you, and where we can focus discussion on issues that we feel you are not yet clear on based on the evaluation you submit at the end of each module. Please note that you will have 30 days to complete the course from the date that we provide you with the login details. Thereafter the password will change and you will no longer have access to the course. Let's look at how the modules are structured.

We prime you for the evaluation questions at the end of the module


We provide the Module Content and a Summary at the end of the module.

This is followed by Module Evaluation which you must complete whereafter you can proceed to the next module.
